Fredericton woman denies fraud charge
Jessie Lynn Brooks, 31, also faces charge of possessing another woman’s stolen debit card
A Fredericton woman denied fraud and stolen-debit-card charges at her first court appearance last week, but the trial wasn’t scheduled right away as the accused plans to seek defence counsel.
Jessie Lynn Brooks, 31, of Maliseet Drive, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Feb. 11 to answer to a pair of charges.
She’s accused of defrauding Linda Nash of less than $5,000 in cash and possessing a stolen Scotiabank debit card belonging to Nash, both in Fredericton on July 31.
