A Fredericton woman will stand trial in the spring on drug charges, including an allegation she had fentanyl in her possession for the purpose of trafficking it in the capital region.
Anne Victoria Martin-McKay, 49, of Union Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Friday along with her defence lawyer, Michael Mallory.
She was there to answer to Jan. 30 charges of possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, simple possession of morphine, and possession of the proceeds of crime ($545 in Canadian currency), all alleged to have occurred in Fredericton.
