A Fredericton man accused of a serious sex-related offence three years ago is due to be in court next month to answer to the indictable allegation.
Jay-Yong Leo Roy, 26, formerly of Sunset Drive, was due to appear in Fredericton provincial court Monday to face an indictable charge of sexual assault, alleged to have occurred Aug. 1, 2022, in Fredericton, involving an adult female complainant.
There’s a court-ordered publication ban in effect protecting the woman’s identity.
