A Fredericton man who pleaded guilty to breaking into a northside home this summer also denied a charge that he assaulted a man this spring.

David Justin Larlee, 49, of no fixed address, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by telephone from jail Wednesday, scheduled to answer to several charges.

He was accused of assaulting John Arbeau with a weapon (a flashlight), resisting arrest and breaching probation May 12.

He’s also charged with breaking into a Stairs Street residence in Fredericton and therein causing property damage, and with breaching a probation order barring him from contact with Elizabeth Larlee, both on July 27.
