A firearms suspect who’s also accused of failing to attend court in June was granted release on conditions after a bail hearing Monday..

Callum James McGraw, 36, of Geegan Street in Bilijk (Kingsclear) First Nation, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Monday for a bail hearing.

McGraw faces charges alleging he possessed two stolen firearms (a 22-calibre Cooey rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun); possessed them while prohibited by a court order and without a licence; possessed them with the knowledge he didn’t have a licence; possessed a stolen pellet gun, chainsaw and tool set; and was unlawfully at large contrary to a sentence of incarceration, all alleged to have occurred in Taymouth on May 10, 2023.
