Eel Ground man denies Bilijk sex assault
Counsel for Tyler Patles, 39, enters not-guilty pleas on his behalf; trial set for March 2027
An Eel Ground First Nation man accused of sexually assaulting someone in the capital region last summer is headed to trial.
The matter of Tyler Patles, 39, of Riverview Road at Natoaganeg (Eel Ground) First Nation, was before Fredericton provincial court Tuesday.
Patles is accused of sexually assaulting someone at Bilijk (Kingsclear) First Nation, near Fredericton, on July 13.
There’s a court-ordered publication ban in effect protecting the identity of the complainant.
