Drug defendant won’t challenge warrant
Christopher Isaiah Eatmon, 31, of Fredericton, accused of producing, possessing fentanyl
A court confirmed upcoming trial dates Friday for a Fredericton man accused of producing fentanyl in the capital this summer after his counsel said the defence won’t be challenging a search warrant.
Christopher Isaiah Eatmon, 31, of Lincoln Road, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by telephone from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Friday for a monitoring proceeding in his case.
He previously elected to be tried in provincial court and pleaded not guilty to July 29 charges of production of fentanyl, possession of it for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine, possession of stolen recording equipment, possession of brass knuckles for a dangerous purpose, possession of that weapon without a licence or authorization, and breach of a court-ordered weapons prohibition.
