A Fredericton man set to stand trial in February on drug-trafficking allegations opted Tuesday to admit to some of the charges against him.

Joseph Vernon Murphy, 45, of Woodstock Road, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in person and in custody Tuesday.

He’d previously pleaded not guilty to numerous charges.
