A first-time offender from Fredericton made quite a splash with his first sentencing hearing, earning a four-year prison term for drug-trafficking and mail-theft crimes committed over the past year.
Jordan Douglas Phillips, 21, formerly of Forest Hill Drive, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in custody and in person Tuesday for a sentencing hearing.
He’d previously pleaded guilty to Jan. 16, 2025, counts of possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime.
