Drug dealer faces counterfeit-cash charge
Jerrod Andrew Mansfield, 41, of Fredericton, accused of passing bogus bucks at Kent store
A Fredericton man awaiting sentencing for drug-trafficking crimes is now facing a new charge alleging he used some funny money at a northside big-box store last fall.
Jerrod Andrew Mansfield, 41, of Union Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Jan. 14 to answer to a summary charge of uttering counterfeit Canadian currency.
The Fredericton Police Force charge alleges he used bogus bills at Kent Building Supplies on the city’s north side on Sept. 16.
