Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story offered a detailed account of a bail hearing, noting that no publication ban was ordered on the evidence. However, it appears one was ordered toward the conclusion of the proceeding. The story has been redacted extensively as a result. We regret the error.

A Minto man will remain in custody pending the outcome of domestic-violence allegations against him after a judge denied him bail this week.

Raymond Patrick Barton, 31, of Bridge Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in custody and in person Thursday for a bail hearing.
