Defence disputes psychiatrist’s finding
Doctor’s report indicates Logan Bradley Fletcher, 23, of no fixed address, isn’t exempt from criminal responsibility due to mental disorder at time of alleged offences in May and June
A mentally ill man accused of a variety of petty crimes in Fredericton this spring is seeking to challenge a forensic psychiatrist’s finding that he wasn’t so unwell at the time that he’d be exempt from criminal responsibility.
Logan Bradley Fletcher, 23, of no fixed address, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in person and in custody Tuesday for the court to review the results of his latest psychiatric assessment.

He faces charges of assaulting Michael Davis on May 23; uttering a threat to Jesse Dixon and carrying a weapon (a pipe) for a purpose dangerous to the public peace May 24; defrauding the Royal Barbershop on May 27; harassing Kerri Wortman by stalking her May 31; and assaulting a Fredericton police officer, threatening him and resisting arrest June 2.
