A Fredericton man accused of passing bogus bucks at a big-box store on the north side of the city last fall denied the allegation Wednesday and will stand trial in more than a year’s time.

Jerrod Andrew Mansfield, 41, of Union Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday along with defence counsel Alex Pate for plea on a summary charge involving alleged counterfeit money,

The defendant is accused of using bogus bills at the northside Kent Building Supplies store Sept. 16.
