Cops seek to identify Out’Fits suspect
Fredericton Police Force releases photo of man outside downtown apparel store, noting it’s connected to active case, but offers no indication of alleged offence or when it occurred
City police are looking to match a name to a face of a suspect in an open file, but they’re not indicating the nature of the investigation or when it occurred.
The Fredericton Police Force released a photo through social media Friday morning of a male suspect it’s seeking to identify “in relation to an ongoing investigation.”

It’s hoping members of the public might recognize him and will relay his name or other information.
The alert offered no context for the nature of the alleged offence or offences involved in the case, when they occurred or when the photo, apparently taken from security footage, was taken.
However, it’s clear from the photo that it was captured outside Out’Fits, an apparel store located in the Tannery area of downtown Fredericton, and snow is visible on the ground in the image, suggesting it’s a recent photo.
The business also shared the city police force’s post to its Facebook page Friday morning, urging people to contact police should they know anything.
The police force urged anyone with information to call it at (506) 460-2300.
Those wishing to provide information anonymously can do so through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), downloading the secure P3 Mobile App or visiting Secure Web Tips online at www.crimenb.ca.
Tipsters can cite police file no. 26-800069.

The ' and F are currently missing from the sign, so logic would suggest that at a minimum, it's likely related to why police are seeking this individual.
