Cops seek to ID Graham Ave. assailant
Fredericton Police Force seeks video footage of male suspect fleeing scene Nov. 26
Police in Fredericton investigating an assault last month in the College Hill area of the capital are hoping residents with security or doorbell cameras might have captured footage of a fleeing suspect.
The Fredericton Police Force issued a news release Sunday night about a violent incident in the early-evening of Nov. 26 on Graham Avenue on the city’s south side.
“At approximately 6:30 p.m., an individual was approached by an unknown person and was physically assaulted,” the release said.
“The suspect is described as male, approximately 5’8” [tall] and wearing a black hoodie.”
Officers haven’t had any luck in turning up witnesses or video footage of the incident, it said.
The force issued a public plea for people with video footage from the area at that time or who may have witnessed a male running from Graham Avenue to Kings College Road between 6:30 and 7 p.m. on the night in question to come forward.
Investigators are interested in hearing from residents, businesses with security cameras or motorists with dash-cam video.
