City woman admits to lesser drug crimes
Terri-Lynn Bennett, 42, of Fredericton, originally charged with possession of narcotics for trafficking purposes, but pleaded guilty to simple possession, earning conditional sentence
A Fredericton woman who previously denied drug-trafficking charges only to later admit to simple possession of narcotics was granted a community-based conditional sentence this week.
Terri-Lynn Bennett, 42, of Bear Drive, had faced Nov. 1, 2023, counts of possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and hydromorphone, all for the purpose of trafficking, alleged to have been committed in Fredericton.
Last year, she elected to be tried in provincial court and pleaded not guilty to all counts.
