Fredericton Police Force seeks tips about heist at St. Peter’s Anglican Church early Monday
One might say the Fredericton Police Force is on a mission from God, because it’s on the hunt for those responsible for stealing a brass bell from a southside church earlier this week.

The Fredericton Police Force issued a news release Tuesday evening about an unusual theft, as someone has absconded with a large brass bell that was on display on the grounds of St. Peter’s Anglican Church at 2365 Woodstock Rd.
“The theft occurred on Dec. 29, 2025, at approximately 2:14 a.m.,” the release said.
“The vehicle involved was a black four-door Ford F-150 truck - license plate unknown.”
The force also released a low-resolution image of the suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information about the theft; details about the truck’s driver, owner or passenger; or with any doorbell-camera, security or CCTV footage from the area is urged to call the Fredericton Police Force at (506) 460-2300.
