Missing Bath teen has been found
RCMP sought tips on whereabouts of 17-year-old boy last seen in village Wednesday night
A 17-year-old boy from Bath whom police reported as missing this week has been found and is OK, the RCMP reports.
The Western Valley region detachment of the RCMP issued a news release Thursday afternoon about a missing 17-year-old boy from Bath, located about 50 kilometres north of Woodstock.
Police said he hadn’t been seen since Wednesday evening in the village and sought tips from the public on his whereabouts.
But in a follow-up Friday morning, the detachment announced he’d been found.
“The 17-year-boy from Bath, N.B., who was reported missing to police, has been located safe,” it said in the updated release.
“The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.”
