A Fredericton man scheduled to elect mode of trial and enter pleas to counts alleging violence and sexual violence toward a woman in recent years saw the charges withdrawn Wednesday.

Tanner Thomas Price, 31, of Victory Avenue, was back in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday to answer to charges dating between 2023 and 2025.

He was accused of sexually assaulting a woman April 28, 2023; assaulting her with a weapon (a cellphone) and damaging a 2020 Toyota Corolla belonging to her, between July 1 and 31, 2024; sexually assaulting the complainant between March 1 and 31; assaulting a woman with a weapon (a door) again Sept. 8.
