A Fredericton man will be under house arrest for the coming months after he was sentenced Friday to a conditional sentence, to be served in the community, for serious firearms crimes.
Bradley William Boone, 33, of Burpee Street, was accompanied by defence lawyer Michael Mallory in Fredericton provincial court Friday for sentencing.
He’d previously pleaded guilty to possessing a 22-calibre Cooey rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun for a purpose dangerous to the public peace, possessing ammo for those firearms for a dangerous purpose, possessing them knowing they were stolen, occupying a vehicle knowing there were firearms in that vehicle, possessing the firearms without a licence, storing/transporting them illegal, and possessing a variety of other stolen items belonging to Chris and Hollie Spilman, all on May 10, 2023, in Taymouth.
